Monroe County 250 Founders Day

April 3, 2025

Today, I had the honor of attending Monroe County 250 Founders Day celebration at the beautiful new courthouse. It was a neat opportunity to explore the facility and all it offers to the residents of our county.

The event was a celebration of our history and community from hearing passionate local historians, to enjoying live music, and seeing so many familiar faces come together to honor our shared roots. A big thank you to Dave Parker for making this milestone celebration, and to all our County Services and employees who help make Monroe County such a wonderful place to live. I’m especially proud that Pocono Township was able to take part in such a meaningful day. Here's to 250 years of rich history and a bright future ahead!
